On the 17th Century, great collections called ‘Wunderkammer’ or “cabinets of curiosities” developed in territories of present-day Germany, France, Belgium and Spain. Dissected animals and vestiges coexisted with other objects of striking nature. Among these objects, works of the most outstanding artists would be found.
