In its sixth year, this residency award continues to honor and elevate the exceptional work of women artists presented at the fair. The non-profit Casa Wabi Foundation is committed to fostering dialogue between national and international artists, designers from diverse disciplines and the local communities along the coast of Oaxaca. Casa Wabi’s artist residencies in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, are deeply integrated with social and cultural initiatives, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to socially engaged and culturally enriching artistic practices that benefit the surrounding communities.
