While coverage of exhibitions, biennials, and other art-world related events taking place across Latin America has increased notably over the last decade, the outlets for long-form and critical writing on the region has been limited. Artforum, The Art Newspaper and Terremoto are three institutions that have consistently sought out this kind of writing and engaged with authors from a variety of disciplines to commission new texts. Editors from these outlets will meet to discuss the changing landscape of arts publishing, the evolving nature of arts coverage in Latin America, and how to provide opportunities for critical writing.
