Art is not always a serious matter: artists who work with humor know that. Humor, like art, can be a very powerful tool, a way to assume a position through ambiguity that is also that of seduction. When we laugh at or just smile before an artwork we establish a complicity that opens the possibility of asking whether we are the addressees or the object of the joke.
