"Chitrapatamga" is a sculpture and new musical instrument created by Ximena Labra in collaboration with the composer Leonardo Heiblum and the luthier Carlos Chinchillas. It produces a universal sound phenomenon which depending on its frequency may be perceived aurally and bodily through its vibration. Chitrapatamga represents at the same time a temple, a deity, and a human body with 108 strings or energy channels (nadis).
